Announcing our fall Accomplices Book Club

Since 2019, our Accomplices Town Halls have provided space for those who want to level up their allyship skills to talk about their challenges, practice difficult conversations, and learn from each other.

This fall, we’ll be turning our attention to Robin DiAngelo’s latest book, Nice Racism: How Progressive White People Perpetuate Racial Harm. If you’ve ever considered yourself part of “the choir” when it comes to racial justice, these conversations are for you.

While DiAngelo’s book focuses on the critical issue of anti-Black racism and the way it manifests even among those who consider themselves anti-racist activists, at Amplify we believe that many of her lessons can be applied to other intersections of our identities and privileges as well, and we’re eager to talk through them with you.

We’ll start in our September Town Hall with a focus on the first three chapters, using the guided discussion questions DiAngelo provides. Register now and don’t miss any of these crucial discussions. (In order to encourage candid and brave conversation, we don’t record these sessions, so we do encourage you to clear the time if you can!)
