Our Study Groups are BACK!

If you haven’t heard, Amplify’s study groups are back in 2021...with a twist! We are revamping the program because of the shifting job availability for underrepresented individuals due to the pandemic. We wanted to give people another avenue to remove the barriers to entry and kick off their Salesforce career.

As a former participant of the study group program, a facilitator was given instructions on how to lead the program in their respective group. Participants were either assigned or selected a topic on the admin exam. Each week participants presented on the topic and facilitators guided them if they missed any details. After analyzing the previous process, we plan to deliver a more curriculum-based program with the goal to get individuals Salesforce certified and hands on experience.

As a previous volunteer of nonprofits, I found it was a rewarding experience. I gained more confidence in the information that I knew and practiced what I didn’t know. The best thing about it is you don’t have to be an expert! You can look into information you don’t know and share it once you have a concrete answer. Also, I had the pleasure of meeting amazing people. You never know who will provide you opportunities in rooms where you are not present. Hopefully, we give people access to resources and a chance to revamp their careers that they may not have had otherwise during these challenging times.

The education program’s duration will be 10 weeks. There will be two facilitators in each cohort spending 1.5 hours teaching participants with hands-on challenges and demos included and  1 office hour for extra help.
